During a brief stay at the Best Western Owego Inn, I was genuinely impressed by the front desk staff, especially Barb, who handled our check-in hiccups with grace and professionalism. The hotel's prime location isn’t its only plus; after a long day on the road from London, my companions and I appreciated how the management adjusted breakfast hours for a group of hungry wrestlers—talk about hospitality! we couldn't overlook that our initial rooms weren't up to scratch in terms of cleanliness, which was disheartening. It’s an older establishment, so perhaps that explains the mixed reviews. Credit where it’s due: Barb personally guided us to a fresh room, turning our frustrating evening into a comfortable night's rest. Despite the rough patches, the warm service and the approachable ambiance truly resonated with my affinity for down-home hospitality in my travels.
